We invite you to meet our team of mortgage advisers. Marcus has been in financial services for 17 years. He has experience in estate agency and bank environments as well as boutique IFA’s. Many of these clients are high net worth and have different requirements. Previously, he worked with multinational firms. He received a number of awards for best performing adviser.
He has attained his full CeMAP qualification as well as his FPC’s (Financial Planning Certificate).
Marcus set up Mortgage Style Ltd in 2006. His goal has always been to offer the best advice possible with great service and communication.
In what spare time he has, he enjoys the gym, and playing football. More recently he put himself through an SAS-designed ‘Tough Mudder’ assault course. This included diving into ice filled water and being electrocuted!.
Marcus says “I’d love to be a good golfer and play when I’m retired. But I’m concerned that I’ll have a heart attack very quickly with the frustration at my lack of any consistency or ability!”
On Mortgage Style Marcus said “We love helping people. It is particularly satisfying to say yes to someone when they have been declined by banks and through other independent brokers. I honestly believe that if we can’t find a solution for the client then no-one can.”

Simon Deeming has worked in a variety of financial service roles since 2007. This includes working as a retail bank manager and commercial bank manager where he arranged finance for small businesses. Simon then moved into mortgage broking where he put his previous experience to good use, finding solutions for clients when their complex circumstances were putting off other banks and brokers from helping. Simon joined Mortgage Style in December 2018 due to the opportunities their wide and loyal customer base provided, especially in areas such as bridging and commercial lending. If there’s a property involved, then Simon should be able to find a lender for you! If you’re in Bristol in the evening you may bump into Simon playing harmonica at his local blues jam, otherwise he’ll be at home with his wife and young daughter, and once they’ve gone to bed will likely be watching match of the day or re-watching the Sopranos box-set.
